Gaurus is a grizzled Half Orc who was heavily involved in the Archai Conflict. As a veteran of the forces fighting against control of the Order of the Archai, Gaurus has experienced the brutality and the extreme measures that the Order will utilise in order to maintain control. Having successfully defended several cities of the Defiants from Order sieges, Gaurus was promoted to the rank of Captain. After the Orolek Accords, he retired from the military and became an apothecary, treating the wounded and working towards peace while accepting that complete order and control was a wistful fantasy that could not be achieved.
